Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 I would keep the DC5R Heard RX-8 drinks fuel machiam drinking water plus you'll need to service it at every 5K interval if i'm not wrong Maintenance wise would definately be more than your current ride Furthermore, it is another 2 door which is similar to your current one ↡ Advertisement
Chisiang 2nd Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 Bro, you funny man. My friend all change from RX-8 to DC5R you do opposite The only thing that they all complaint the same about the RX-8 is..... the petrol bill can finance for another car At times like this, I don't think it is so wise to get the RX-
Chisiang 2nd Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 ya... maintenance is If your car PI then getting parts also zoom zoom zoom needs your chasis number then they will sell you the parts. Some common problem: steering column, premature death of engine mounting (1 yr+), overheating, limited mods.
Chisiang 2nd Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 I don't think the RX-8 is more power than your DC5R. If you want comfort and some power, maybe try a Golf GTi. but a bit expensive.

Kalaplus Neutral Newbie April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 i test drive the 6mt at zoomzoom liao. it heavy and not pulling at all. low rpm very bad, vtec low rpm no torque, this is even worse. heavy + torqueless. no way it can outrun a dc5r.
So_nice 6th Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 never driven any of the 2 u mentioned but i would be keen to keep the DC5R. i would prefer its raw vtec power.
Zcold 2nd Gear April 2, 2008 Share April 2, 2008 DC5R is good... but high speed stability is no where near the rx8... no doubt it is very exciting and fun everytime i push my DC5 to the limit... my frien sat in the RX8 sae got floaty feelin leh... tink he smoke me man... i always tot dc5r would have a better high speed stability....
