Dear all,

Need to gather the help from fellow MCFers again.

After watching "Save the Stall" by Kim Ng and Quan Yifeng, I might be interested in visiting some of the food stalls.

Where are they located? If you know, kindly provide info on the name of the stall and their location. If you have tried the food, you may want to comment on whether there is any improvement.

Many thanks.

Thank you.

Now that we have the complete list, can someone please comment on the standard of the food (if you have visited them)?

We have watched a couple of the episodes. One of the better reality programmes that Mediacorp churns out. My wife was touched with tears when she watched ep.5. Its about the young chap selling western food. Can really tell he was sincere and motivated to improve the quality of his food. And his wife was a good supporter too. Can't say the same for the others though.

Yup.... can see the japs r really serious abt their livelihood. Either make it or break it

But over here, you can still see some smiling faces [shakehead] . I do wonder how serious they are in improving their food quality.

She made a decision to quit her job to do something she likes - run a business.

But in her business, she bakes and sells something she dislikes.

How contradictory!

I would not compare like that with the Japanese who are described among others, as homogenous.

Just because someone is always smiling does not mean they are not serious. In last week episode, the chef reiterated that its the end product us important.

Yap, remember the jap version. very drama, but every episode the same drama, but different player.. The local version, despite being a copy, it better, where every one has their own character, unlike the jap, all the same but different face.
