Bro , I am using this. Adjustment should be made upto the finest. Notice that in the links its mentioned that "just barely" is marked as bold.. Yes your car should not disappear from your mirror or show major portion of your car.. Just barely is the right adjustment. For Parking I also use one more technique esp when side of the car is close to the pillar.. I apply brake, the brake lamp is powerful to see the sides more clearly.

er... does this really work?

the premise is that we will be able to see the car transiting from the rear mirror to side mirror view.

But what about bikes? Aren't they small enough to still hide in the "blind spot"?

Personally, I make it a point to turn my head to ENSURE there are no vehicles / bikes.

I think it is safer that way

i dont think this workable leh...

if tilt far out till cannot see the car body,

will tend to miss out those motorbikes that are trying to squeeze inbetween cars, dangerous also. either put those small blind spot mirrors or/and use a long long rear view mirror will do.

yes it works. the rear and side mirror have to be adjusted so that there is literally no blind spot for the moto to hide.

good point. for the diagram, a bike might still be able to be in the blind spot. even if u can see a BIT of the bike on each side, the brain might not register.

i will still use my blind spot mirrors AND sometimes turn my head. esp when mirror is wet from rain [cool]

IMO,this link is good for Reference only. the best solution is still Signal Early and turn your head to check blindspot Visually. [thumbsup]

I don't find this piece of advice useful at all. So inconvenient and I think they forgot about the "how to park" part? [hur]
