Huggable Clutched March 29, 2008 Author Share March 29, 2008 Yeah, one of the unfortunate ones. Everyone was fine, thanks. Lil' Chris (my son) was shouting in the car, seeking for attention while I changed the tyre, and my wife walked back to take pictures. I had to reverse a few tens of metres after changing the tyre, and went over to get the trailer company info, driver name, etc, and take more pictures. By the time we went back to the car, lil' Chris was already crying as he was strapped to his seat for too long. I must be at the scene for at least a good 30-45mins. Huggable Clutched March 29, 2008 Author Share March 29, 2008 I'm sure any driver would be "kan-jiong" if he caused such an accident. He claimed to be the sole breadwinner, and have a newborn baby to take care of. His company won't help him out as he was involved in a few accidents previously. Xtrider82 Neutral Newbie March 30, 2008 Share March 30, 2008 Hmmm, since the driver was involved in a few accidents previously, shouldn't he be much more aware of his own vehicle + crane boom? Plus isn't there supposed to be some safety checks to be done by a supervisor before the truck moves off? If i remember correctly, this type of accident involving a crane boom has occurred before. Guess he has only himself to blame for this, unless he can prove otherwise.
