Hi MCFians, I just encountered this particular scenario at a MSCP earlier. I parked in a lot and placed a parking coupon on my dashboard. Upon exiting my vehicle, I noticed a car key left in the front passenger door of the vehicle parked beside me. I pondered for a few seconds and decided to employ poll option 2: "Open the door, Remove the Key, Leave it on Seat & Close the Door (Doors Unlocked)". [thumbsup]

What would you do if you were in my shoes? [confused]

I did think of employing poll option 3 but I remembered there was a time that I left my only car key in my previous car and was left no choice but to call a locksmith. The damage $40. [knife] The wait 90mins. [furious]

I couldn't bear that the owner suffer the same fate as I did. Not to mention the inconvenience caused if the owner was intending to rush off for an appointment. [drivingcar]

Maybe, i will remove the key, leave my contact/name card, close n lock the door. [:)]

I'm already kind-hearted to do such a deed but I certainly wouldn't want to go to such great lengths to inconvenience myself further. [sweatdrop]

Drive to workshop, log onto MCF and advertise

"Hyundai Matrix scraping car

parts for sale , tyres , rims, gear knob, body panels

engine, windscreen, exhaust, etc etc"

OR

put superglue on the key and put it back where it was

kekekekekeke

I think best will be to leave the key as it was

owner will return to the car and enter start the car without hassle
