My car at home is basement carpark and in office (I in office job so seldom go out except sometimes drive out for lunch) also basement carpark. I do not have roach or any other type of problems. I think most impt is to keep the interior clean. I am very particular on this - no eating, no drinking, no smoking, etc etc in the car.

Baking the car under the sun.....if objective is to kill roach its a waste of time. They can easily take the heat. My 1st car many many years ago when I was doing sales park in the sun all day also cannot get rid of them. If trying to get rid of mould... more effective to send car for interior steam cleaning. Actually this will also get rid of roach problem.

Actually I do not see any benefit in baking the car........just keep the interior clean can already.

Benefit is to kill of the bacteria and mould spores and moulds .... by reducing humidity and heating ..also UV and IR rays...

Ur car may be clean but Air cond duct and filter usually have condensate and across time breeds bacteria ... and the nasty microorganisms ... and not to mention slime and gunk...

Since u breathe the air while driving ...it's only good for u to BAKE the car... esp if u have kids with asthma issues... it's what we dont see that we need to get rid off... sometimes u FART inside the car the particles and sh.it molecules get trapped in the fabric also ...

Esp those who works indoor and parks the car in Basement carpark all the time...

Do you bring ur car out for a SUN- BAKE session once every few weeks?

Reason is that the NOON or Afternoon SUN will Kill all insects, and esp Moulds and spores that grow rapidly in humid environment... around nooks and crannies ... air cond duct, filters, fabrics ...etc

Yup.... once a week either Sat or Sun when the sun is at its hotest to get rid of smell, bugs & any others unwanted insects..... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

After that, washing at the MSCP...... [sly][sly][sly]
