Coolpica 4th Gear April 1, 2008 Share April 1, 2008 Bosch Aerotwin is I changed them in mid March. During the heavy downpour that week, the Aerotwin swept all the rain effectively. However, the price is a bit ex. My 24" and 16" wipers costed $85.
macrosszero Turbocharged April 1, 2008 Share April 1, 2008 Black rubber one, not silicon. It wipes the same as the original rubber blades and makes no noise. My original factory-delivered NWB wiper blades lasted me 14 months.
Cthulhu 1st Gear June 11, 2008 Author Share June 11, 2008 Yeah bro I got it at Loyang Stamford. Cheers. bro, i bought my twister at Stamford loyang like 20 mins ago. i just need to replace my wiper already & did not want to wait for a chance to go kaki bukit. tested it and no problems found... and it looks good too... ...costs me 86 bucks tho! (one measuring 12" and the other 24") thanx for the recommendations guys! Hi everyone! Here's a feedback after buying the Twister wipers from Stamford Loyang. I've been using the wipers since 28th Mar 08; the pair worked fine except for the occasional juddering (occurs when there little rain only - the more water the better these seems to work) on the long piece (24") at the right corner. So, despite being a very picky person when it comes to cars, I didn't have the chance to rectify this problem until yesterday (Tues 11 Jun 08) due to being busy busy busy. I called the number on the warranty card on Mon (1:30pm) after visiting Stamford Loyang & being advised so by the girl at the payment counter. The guy answering the call was friendly & asked if he could wait for me as he can drop by at 2:30pm - way past my lunchtime. I asked to meet at 1:30pm the nest day instead & he agreed. When we met the next day at Stamford (the dealership is owned by these two bros I forgot what name; so I'll call them Twister bros ), the Twister bros gave a very throughout explanation of how the silicone wipers work. They cleaned up the screen real good & the wipers were working well with no juddering now - so it's actually due to my poorly maintain screen that cause the juddering . After testing the wipers for about 15 mins, the Twister bros pointed out but the short piece (12") was not working as it was intended too! I could hardly notice it! The short piece's internal metal lining was not having the proper curvature; so the pressure applied at the center of the wiper was not adequate - again I stress that I did not notice this minute detail having been using these wipers for these few months! Guess what; the Twister bros changed the internal metal lining w/out me even asking for it! I'd say the service was darn good! A few of my friends are using the Twister too - they had no problems with them & with the good service, I'd recommend this brand. Cheers! Thanx for reading.
