Lala81 Hypersonic February 4, 2017 Share February 4, 2017 most convenient for my house is SPC and Esso. SPC has bigger discount. So use SPC. No difference between the 2 for 92-95. I've pumped caltex in the past as well for my old car. Just that i use 95 rather than 92 for my car as i FEEL that it improves my car's pickup. ↡ Advertisement

Once finish will go back to Esso, nearest station Ya. Caltex very rare. Got their $6 voucher for SCB cards but cannot find caltex near me...
Benarsenal Turbocharged February 4, 2017 Share February 4, 2017 BTW all the petrol brands have their own phone app, which have petrol station locator. I find it quite useful sometimes.
Ender Hypersonic February 4, 2017 Share February 4, 2017 Least fav is shell.. Coz they don't have 92 for my lao pok chia.. The only one time I pump shell is when I had that $20 voucher.. Most of the time I use SPC or ESSO.

They don't come clean have to write to customer service and enquirer where is the bonus points
Theoldjaffa Hypersonic February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 SPC for me, just outside my place at straightforward discount and rebate with POSB Everyday. Usually the slowest to raise prices too. Followed by Esso, due to Speedpass. Pump and go, no need to queue. Shell and Caltex most farked up. They take turns to be the first to raise prices. Shell is mostly crowded while Caltex is difficult to find. But I LL pump shell now till I finish my $8 vouchers
Sky8807 1st Gear February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 For me, I go for convenience and discount factor. SPC, with POSB everyday card discount. In my opinion, shell is the cleanest petrol.

Solar Turbocharged February 5, 2017 Share February 5, 2017 (edited) For me usually those that can offer the best discounts.. once the caltex vouchers run out I'll go back to spc. It's located just across the street after dropping my kids at school. And yes.. they got Ron 92 pumps. Actually can't tell any diff from 92 and 98 in my car. Theoldjaffa Hypersonic February 6, 2017 Share February 6, 2017 so are 2L turbo cars considered "regular" cars? it is strange for me cos for all my NA cars, i couldn't tell the difference between 95 and 98. but for my current turbo car, 95 does feel more sluggish. and it's the same whether it's Shell 95 or SPC 95. ↡ Advertisement
