as for the software, it's FREE, can't complain much, there is some short coming but manage to work around it

I only use it to cut short the video clips only.. have not explore further

 

function is limited but well enough on basic function

I have problem when I try to cut short both the begining and ending part at the same time by using the mouse to move the cursor. I can never cut all the way to the end of the clip.

 

I have to do one at a time and sometime have to use the right arrow key to move all the way to the end of the clip instead of using the mouse.

 

Other than that, it's not too bad lah

You can edit MP4 files with HandBrake or this MP4 Editor .

 

Both can meet your need. HandBrake is more complicate to handle but free. The latter is easier but is not free.
