Hi Bro

In regards to Porter Cable power input, does it support 240V?

I've never used a machine polisher and wouldn't mind trying it out. Any chance of including me in the bulk purchase that Bro Benny is organizing?

regards

MikeY

Is good to get one or 2 spares..They wll last you quite sometime..The commonly used one will be white for polishing and black for finishing..Apply your sealant or wax..Orange pad hardly used if you are not doing any paint corretion..Not to mention yellow..

Also get one spare backing plate just in case..Latioboy broke his after few times..I also dun know how he do it..Faint..lol

Bro Benny,

Do you have any experience with Suzuki SX4?

I detailed my friend's 6-month old red SX4 over the long weekend, and my white polishing pad was stained red! Could it be possible that Suzuki is still using single stage paint (without clear coat) on the SX4 in this day and age?

The detailing process for this SX4 is as follows:

1. Wash

2. Claybar

3. Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD with LC CCS white polishing pad by PC

5. DG #601 PBA with MD MF applicator by hand

6. DG #105 TPP with MD MF applicator by hand (x 2 layers)

7. DG #271 RBD for all plastic trim

8. Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss for all tyres

Here's a picture of the finished car:
