stainless steel piping enhances flow of air since it has smoother surface (less turbulence inside the pipes) hence reduces exhaust backpressure which is usually bad for a turbo setup [;)]

Actually, steel piping will encounter heat soak which is not desirable.

But if you're boosting at much higher levels, you'll need to use the steel ones to avoid bursting the plastic piping. Rubber should be better than plastic though...... not sure if can tahan high boost..

also much heavier especially if the piping length is long like GDB. Easily another 5~10 kg more weight. Best will be aluminium and then ceramic coat it. thumbsup.gif

I'm on stainless steel pipes from normally dunno what stock pipes.. just got it done last week...

Here is what i noticed.. is not placebo effect.. trust me...

Boost kicks in slightly lower....

Car's response increases....

And try to have as little joints as possible

If you want something more specific.. you can try other foreign forums which are more helpful.

My advise, if you're not playing too much with your internals and mods, ie high boosting and or more hp... Stainless Steel pipes.. are the best mods to go for response... BEING CHEAP~!!!!

Dun get me wrong... :)

Cheers... have fun..
