Thypig33 Neutral Newbie December 13, 2008 Share December 13, 2008 very well shows that this car is worth to buy if no major problem.... I used to own a Hyundai Elantra in '00, i think around the $101 COE time... total nightmare for me... things dropped out or spoilt... in the end i sold it off and bought myself a lancer, really cant tahan the car... good to know that the build quality has improved. YellowFlash Clutched December 13, 2008 Share December 13, 2008 38000km for 2.5yrs still ok , mine 2yrs old already 60000km - Sg use only , if u are really looking into good FC then go for 1.1L . My buddy 1.4L (A) from Full to 1/4 ( Light footed ) clocked only 360km - 390km while mine 1.1L from Full to 1/2 already clocked 480km-500km but of course pick up [laugh] [laugh] heh...if 2.5yrs less than 25k then really consider not much usage... YellowFlash Clutched December 13, 2008 Share December 13, 2008 ic...impressive...but 12km/l is still lousy for a 1.3 :) currently my 1.2ton 1.5l toyota gets 14km/l +/-...much better power much better fuel economy...

Beehive3783 Turbocharged December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 Book value means if I sell my car now, how much left of COE, parf or whatever that cannot be disputed. This is a fixed value depending on LTA system. I think you can check from onemotoring website with the licence plate number easily. So if the remaining book value is say $24k (for my case), then if I sell at $28k, it's only $4k that you are paying for the body. So the buyer worst case, scrapped the next day, he only lose $4k. If the buyer buy at $26k, then he only stands to lose a max of $2k if he crashed the car the next day. The book is still claimable back from LTA. i tried to check from LTA, but they need the owner's IC as well. zzz
Friendstar Supercharged December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 u look at the FC meter?
Friendstar Supercharged December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 38000km in 2.5yrs is not really low mileage... but then nevertheless go check it out if ure interested, 1.6m really has quite abit of power and pretty nice to drive. 38,000km in 2.5years is LOW mileage. Friendstar Supercharged December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 u've already paid for the petrol upfront in the really overpriced allion.
Hiphiphoray 6th Gear December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 Allion is insanely overprice. But i dont mind getting a 2nd hand allion tho. But SGMart bor lei. Got penty of Axio on sale tho.
Kb27 Supersonic December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 You're right, need IC. But according to the post at sgmart. LTA rebates is roughly about $7.3k (coe) + $8.2k (parf) for this month or $15.2k maybe at most $16k..although I may be wrong. So you could probably bargain down a few k for a good deal. YellowFlash Clutched December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 manual cal...the on screen one is not accurate...usually off by 0.6 to 0.8...
YellowFlash Clutched December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 if you said overpriced, then all the contis are overpriced...and most dont give as decent FC. If you havent really take a closer look at the allion or sat in one, i'd suggest you to head down to a PI, it might be slightly pricier but its worth the money. Its build is one of the top in the class for jap 1.5-1.6 range...
Nkps 1st Gear December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 i prefer premio over allion...
YellowFlash Clutched December 14, 2008 Share December 14, 2008 each to its on...they share the complete same engine and chassis...only interior is different, its made to target different audience...premio is 1k more than allion if im not wrong. ↡ Advertisement
