You may try local forum like getzclub or getzgarage to try your hunt.

At the same time, know more about this Getz.

Hmmm .. how to know if it had been turbo charged before ? Any tell tale sign ?

Check the engine bays for mounting marks, screw holes left behind, look for suspicious parts... tongue.gif

Hello,

I am seriously thinking of getting a used Getz. In the small car category, I like its look and space and I also think that it should be quite reliable

There are few variants avaiable - 1.1M, 1.3A & 1.4A (will not condier the 1.6 version). Like to seek opinion from fellow Getz owners which vaiant is the best amongst all, and what is the reasonable price for a 2 ~ 3 yr old car ?

From Straits times and online carmart, the price of a close to 3yr old Getz is around 30K. Is this a fair value to pay for ?

The other option I am considering is to get a OPC at < 20K and convert it to a normal plate, which will work out to be around 30K.

Also, if anyone is thinking of letting go your Getz, please let me know.

Thanks.

same here i am also looking for a used getz.

i have picanto opc 1.1A to let go too...let me know if u r keen :)

Turbocharged

Given the tax system as well as the fuel prices here, many people are starting to consider lower cc cars.

Getz 1.1M seems to be the best option.

Anyone here cares to elaborate on its reliability, as well as ease of carrying out the repair work?

I heard in the 80s and 90s, the Hyundai cars were cheap but when it comes to repair, the mechanics had a big headache. The engine layout wasn't that friendly. True?
