Don't staffs from P*h He*g surf the car forum?

With so much bad publicity, they should wake up their idea.

frankly, their price is still of the lower one ard.. and people still go there.. service wise, only a few high and mightly customers complain.. want cheap, want good and want 5star service.. not many can offer.. even when going to the shop across, when he's busy, it can be like jewel shop.. but then, frankie does show more patience over the phone compared to Justin..

but in singapore, any place that is cheap, people will go.. otherwise, you will be seeing a long queue at YHI, Stamford or my highly recommended Hankook at Toh Guan/Pasir Panjang. Their price are not the best but when it come to service, they give u the personnal touch.. (highly dependable on who serve u)

Whether be p-- ---g Jewellery or Eng Wah Cinema, I personally believe that it is good to PR the owner. My last trip was my 3rd time going there so i was able to bargain a bit. A point to note is it is good to go there as an educated and informed customer. [scholar]

Agree

I traded in my rims and tyres on the day I collected my car, got a good price and he waited for me till I arrive at around 730pm.

Got my subsequent GY Eagle F1 from him last year at a good price too 195/55/15 between $340-$380. All done within 20mins of my lunch time. Price to me is the priority. I already know what 'shoes' I want, then ask around for a few quotes. If it's time that matter, then $50-$100 wouldn't matter much at another place that have stock at a higher price.

The important thing is be very sure of what exactly you want in mind.

I went there again because I not there to shop and ask him what is the most suitable pair..... I called him to ask about the availability and price, informed the day and time. That simple.

After having read all the comments on tyre shops, basically, it all voiced down to services from the shop boss and the workers, prompt attention and action provided by the shop boss.

Most importantly and particularly, the shop boss should treat each and every customer as a valued client as their business is based on words of mouth from customers.

Besides sincerity and honesty, prices must be realistic and reasonable as competitions amongst tyre shops are very high.

A company should never take for granted that they will always have continuous abundance of businesses. It is only through such car forums that members would be kept posted as to which particular shops are good or not.

Ultimately, it is the tyre shop bosses service that will determine whether they will have more customers or lose customers. Even if the prices of certain tyres shops are slightly more expensive which I believe the bosses are prepared to negotiate as they want see customers returning back to them to give them business and recommending friends.

This message is particularly to the attention of tyre shop bosses who are either members of or reading the postings in mycarforum.

I have to say that postings by members in mycarforum are very effective tools as these will influence other members as well through feedbacks.

U can look through the brochures and point to the uncle at Soh Bros the one u want and they will bring in for u. Don't have to limit yourself to those display in the shop. That's what i did. They can bring them in within an hour or 2.

It really depends on what tyres or rim they gave you..

some forged rim cost more than a k.. some 18inch tyres can range from 150 to 400+.. you must tell us what he quote you..

or maybe go to a few shops and get a feel of what is market rate

Who says PH business is better? I stand at the shop and look at the crowd of PH.....i personally think SB business beat them.

not in the spirit of defending the jewel shop but there's other tyre shops that provide very good service and competitive pricing as well. it's a matter of what you come across.

but then, having observed both shops, the business is quite equal nowadays compared to the olden days.

now, it seems like the 1st shop beside SB is hitting the flies as usual.
