Not a senior, also new driver, but just happen to have GPS to guide me there several times.

Do you know how to get to Jln WOng Ah Fook from causeway? At the end of Jln Wong Ah Fook where it splits to several roads, take the one that says going to Kota Tinggi, which puts you on Tebrau Highway. Go straight along Tebrau Highway for around 10km, you should be going up a flyover at the Pasir Gudang Junction. Upon coming down the Flyover, keep left for a few hundred meters you should see the huge shopping mall. Turn Left into it, should see a shell station immediately. and turn right into the carpark just after Shell Station.

Recently, I followed my M'sian fren out of the carpark, and lead us "against road arrow" back to the Shell Station, up the highway ramp, and u-turn back to JB/SGP.

Plan to go 26/9, and wish to use the proper road, afterall we are SGP cars.

May I have your kind guidance.

Last minute decision to drive to Jusco TC today [25/9] 11am, to avoid potential jams over the F1 weekend.

Using guide from Ender, able to reach Jusco TC easily.

Parked at lot J92, nearby to lift and travellator. This lift bring you directly to Jusco, dun have to walk far with the shopping/grocery.

Thai food at the Black Canyon Restaurant [2nd Floor / L3] delicious and ok pricing, service very good.

Checked out the pricings at the Stamford Tyre booth for my car. Thai-made Falken ZE912 185/65R15 88H @RM189/pc. Will consider changing in Nov'2008.

In addition, they can do high-speed [on-wheel] balancing @RM15/wheel.

Luckily, managed to find way back to JB/SGP without losing the way.

Will plan to go again, becos managed to cover only Jusco and lunch.

Pardon me for I am a bit suah ku. Took a cab from Holiday Plaza to Jusco TC today and it cost me Rm 9. I am thinking of driving my VIOS to Jusco TC but I am worried as they say JB is a "criminal plenty" place. I am worried about people vandalising my car, or breaking in. Anyone out there has any comments about this? What are the precautions to take?

You can always refer to the past threads on such concern. Hopefully this thread will not become another one talking about other country crimes.

You can see at lot of other more expensive SG plated cars inside Jusco.. Nobody will give a damn on your Vios..

As for break in and stuff, don't leave any expensive looking stuff like GPS or even its holder on your dashboard..

JB is not "criminal plenty" place. Everywhere in the world is the same, even SG.

Practice common precautions.

- park nearby lift lobby, escalator, well-lit areas where plenty of people walking by.

- remove/hide all valuables, if possible leave them at home.

- park head in.

- use steering lock if necessary. However, this is only a deterrent.

- don't show off in dressing/behavoir, or SG superiority attitude.

- don't compare loudly with SG pricings, and call out "cheap, cheap".

- if driving in 1st time, maybe buddy with a few more cars, as reassurance.

Don't develop a phobia of "JB criminal plenty". If this phobia is there, it is not advisable not to visit coach/drive in yet. You would not be able to enjoy your visit.
