and pls dun illegal park at senoko cause the cb matah there will come out n summon

Thanks for the parking tip. If want to go there and buy fish, must reach there at around what time? Thanks.

Regards,

good timing would be 4.30~5.30am

the last time i went there was a few years back already..... went there to buy selars, kembong & sotong for a long fishing trip.

doesnt make sense for u to go there all the way to buy unless u need large quantity like for throwing party or special occasion.

there isnt much live fish on display...... but they are sure very fresh... some are still alive in the ice box.

i dunno wats the big fuss over the timing thing. i was jus replying to Kelpie's query on the best time to go there...i quoted the time since that is the time where most of the ship is coming into port....

ur NTUC or wet market fish may have or could have been a few day old...

as long as the fish is stored in freezer, n only defrost once for cooking then the taste should be too far off...

no worries.... to each his own....

i'm sorry if i did offend u in any way or other.

btw, in my earlier post i did mentioned that the place is only worth going if u need quantity amount....... otherwise, not worth the trouble.

1. For me, the objective is simple. Just wake up early in the morning to go there and experience what a fishery port or market is about. It doesn't always have to end up buying things cheap. It could be a good learning experience for the kids during the June holidays.

2. To each his own. I've this friend, who will drive to airport early in the morning, take a flight to KL and walk-in to his favourite stall and eat his favourite food. After that, just take a flight back to Singapore and it all happen in a day.

Regards,
