Mad Mike is actually a great guy. I wish him good luck and he said thanks and gave me a poster of his car and his signature [:)] As for his aggresiveness, it's always like that to pressure your opponent and let them spun out. It's part of the game [:p]

looking at how Tengku Djan beat Casper and Conrad G and went head-to-head with Miki Ryuji in the finals maybe 2009 will see them bring their bigger stars...Rhys Millen, Ken Gushi, Sam Hubinette..???

Car suffered a crash on Fri afternoon, the rear smashed the wall.

The following items were damaged along the way

- Rear bumper (minor, managed to repair easily with loads of duct-tape)

- Rear boot cavity frame misaligned

- Full racing exhaust (broke into two piece)

- Suspected damage to exhaust manifold

- Suspected damage to rear drive shafts / rear knuckle arms

- Suspected damage to LSD

Car is making this horrid knocking sound at higher speeds now. Going to bring it into the workshop for a full checkup.

Hope those stars will be able to come to SG fr next year. They field Conrad G, Casper and Ryuji Miki. They thought those drivers can make it to the top 3 but they were wrong. Our S.E.A drifters are now becoming much more better.

Sorry to hear that your Dori machine is suffering from some casualties. Time to get a workshop to sponsor you big time and it's time for a big revamped. Hehe [laugh]

Hmm .. ok, I'll accept that its part of the game to be a bit aggressive, but maybe he just went a little overboard. I'll reserve judgement, coz I haven't actually met the guy.

But overall, I was very impressed with all the drivers, especially the SG drivers. Although not in the finals, I'm sure the experience will help them do better the next round. Also I found the overall organization quite good ... looking forwards to next year!

[thumbsup]

Well, I might have a major project for the car at the end of the year.

There are a few forums around, but I usually hand around here mostly.

I go to places like Ricardo for my servicing at Leng Kee area. They're very professional with their all round servicing for most major car brands.

For mods, I head to various places like Lim Tan Motors, ST Powered.

Yes, we did tell Mike to cool down for the final few runs.

He drove a little too aggressively and thus the judges decided to award the win to Miki instead.

Hehe. Great bro. You should also try Garage R. They are one of the best workshops in SG. They are famous for their workmansip of their customers engine bay. When I look at Jensen Tan's and Yoong's engine bay, I was like drooling already. So neat, cool and yet very powerfull. [:)] But the problem at Garage R is the $$$$$$ [sweatdrop]
