Fitty Neutral Newbie February 24, 2008 Share February 24, 2008 cost of repairing that bump is not cheap as i done it before when going over a huge stone in cck. cost me $300++ to repair as lots of stuff have to be taken out. maybe you can go back and ask them to do up for you. Albeniz Turbocharged February 25, 2008 Share February 25, 2008 The current issue is, even if they offer to remedy all the problems (caused by them) free of charge, do you still dare to let them handle your car any further? I am afraid more problems might be created. It looks like they are really a bunch of unskilled mechanics.

Rb26dett Clutched February 25, 2008 Share February 25, 2008 not trying to bombar u or wat.why dont you get other brand of gauges?simply just get defi gauges from reputable workshops like st powered and they will do a good job.i did mine there.not the cheapest around.but they do it the professional way. Icekitten Clutched February 25, 2008 Share February 25, 2008 Think TS did mention that CB (where he purchased the gauges) asked him to go to that workshop to install the sensors.
Mivec9 1st Gear February 25, 2008 Share February 25, 2008 Think TS did mention that CB (where he purchased the gauges) asked him to go to that workshop to install the sensors. ======================================================== Sounds like a scam to me if workshop is not good, why still recommend? Icekitten Clutched February 26, 2008 Share February 26, 2008 Hmmm....I dunno...a lot of possibilities... Could be a new mechanic at the 'recommended workshop'? One-off occurrence? One thing I've learnt about workshops is that it's pretty much a heng suay thing. Ever had wheel balancing done at a workshop at AMK Autopoint when ride was still new. Recommended by friends. Ended up paying $40 for nothing. Then my frustrated hubby just drove into the first tyre shop he saw that was open in Eunos Ave 4 ind park. It was manned by an old uncle. No fancy cars there. That uncle took one look at the wheels and started cursing the person who did our wheel balancing for the rubbish he'd done. Then he redid everything. The cost? $12 (I think...or $15?) Cty_15 Neutral Newbie February 26, 2008 Share February 26, 2008 That is true...... However, if I were to install gauges, I'll normally go to the workshop that I trusts and frequents (rather than some "recommended" workshop). Just speaking from my perspective.
