This one don't happen as often as accidents involving cars mah... Read the report on TNP and quite a bit of injuries...

True when you mentioned that bus accidents aint as frequent. But having said that, I reckon many of us have seen the way some bus 'captains' drive (& stop). There was more than a couple of times when I literally have to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting these bullies when they exit from the bus bay. I think they thought by having the 'Please Give Way' sign on their rear means we must give way even if it is dangerous to do so.

That's true man... Bus drivers are pretty reckless now especially when they are exiting from the bus bays... They are doing it due to the fact not many give way to them...

Agree . . . in fact I had written in to them twice (one each to SMRT and SBS) on their buses nearly causing an accident when their driver just drove out of the bus stops even though I was already almost beside them causing me to jam brake . . . both occasions they only say sorry and said will take actions on the drivers (not sure whether they really did). I also notice that some bus drivers like to jut out their bus a bit into the other lane and stop while attempting to exit . . . this made the other lane 'narrower' and many times I ended up having to cut a bit into to lane on my right in order to pass the buses safely. . . . this happened again this morning when I was on my way to work . . .
