Ken_leong 2nd Gear February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 (edited) Was qoted $700 for a set of 17" OZ Superleggera with tyres (maybe can lower somemore). Both are 2 yrs old. Tyres are neligible cos most probably will have to change as it has travelled 40,000 km. Condition of rims: 6.5/10. Reason being there are kerb rashes on all 4 rims. So bros, is it worth paying for it and then getting it reconditioned (not to mention have to buy new tyres also)??? And anyone knows it's weight? Rentabass Neutral Newbie February 15, 2008 Share February 15, 2008 The OZ official website states that the weight of 17" ultraleggera is slightly more than 7kg. Personally weighed original 17x8" Ultraleggera at about 7.7kg on a weighing scale.

Fresh Clutched February 15, 2008 Share February 15, 2008 this set of wheels are slightly lighter than that... 0.1 from each wheels were left on kerbs around Singapore...
Rentabass Neutral Newbie February 15, 2008 Share February 15, 2008 That's light...for some reason, I've always had the odd impression that Ultras were lighter than the Supers. Big slap on forehead moment. Don't really see that many of them Superleggeras on sale these days, anybody know where they've gone? (Just curious)
Circuit Clutched February 15, 2008 Share February 15, 2008 i using superleg 16" ... used to use 17" superleg... super light... with tire one hand can carry. light and strong. sold to a ipoh guy drove down to buy . change to 16" due to more resistant to MY poleholes, freq travel. and cheaper tires. :P abit regret on looks 17" nicer. and lighter , should say. but now my 1.6 engine pull better and still nice:)
Rentabass Neutral Newbie February 16, 2008 Share February 16, 2008 17" definitely look better, but you can't dispute that 16" tires are a lot cheaper, eh? ↡ Advertisement
