Helloworld88 2nd Gear February 13, 2008 Author Share February 13, 2008 Policeman always say "Low crime doesn't mean no crime". Spore is too peaceful, so many people lack of the awareness in this aspect.
Vratenza Supersonic February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 i recently returned from a driving trip to Melbourne. I just left my Garmin suction cup cradle on the windscreen all the time.....nothing happened...I guess i was lucky...
Shodan99 Neutral Newbie February 14, 2008 Share February 14, 2008 You never know. My friend once left a bag of groceries in the car in UK. And the window was smashed just to grab the groceries.
Melissa 1st Gear February 14, 2008 Share February 14, 2008 Personally i dun own a GPS unit. But i saw quite a number of cars that DID NOT even bother to remove their GPS unit after they park their car in public carparks.. So dangerous... GPS unit is worth so much more than a cash card (assuming ppl top up ard $50-$100), one day those ppl will be tempted to steal the GPS.
Helloworld88 2nd Gear February 14, 2008 Author Share February 14, 2008 That is the reason why I start this thread. Btw, they are very "brave" !
Auron 2nd Gear February 14, 2008 Share February 14, 2008 i do not remove cradle also. the chances of thief stealing GPS is very slim. thief only strike for things that they can exchange for $$$ fast. stuffs like cash card or hard cash. what is the point for them to steal GPS since they are difficult to dispose off. Will_I_Am 2nd Gear February 14, 2008 Share February 14, 2008 Are you refering to the cradle only or the cradle together with the GPS unit? I keep my GPS unit, but left the cradle on the windscreen. Will that be a problem?
