Silveratenza Neutral Newbie February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Was actually waiting eagerly for it to see if its worth to change to this next year.... But kinda disappointed when seeing these pictures... Thought the Concept car (Wagon) was filled with so much anticipation...but sedan looks very dull. This model seems to be a major facelift than a new car...only changes to front/back lamp, bumpers and grill. The other body parts are essentially the same as the present JDM Accord. Although have to say the interior does look good and upmarket now....BUT THEN...wat's up with the RED hazard light button AGAIN!!! It just spoil the whole ambience, makes it look so cheapo....dunno what are the designer thinking... ↡ Advertisement
Davidklt Supercharged February 12, 2008 Author Share February 12, 2008 I drive a Mazda 6 too. I think I would change to this one..
Silveratenza Neutral Newbie February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Yes, JDM accord has been my ideal 2L car for the comfort and power at a reasonable price. If I can live pass PI and the price of 80+k, then it should be ok to change to this. But seeing the current trend of new car price when launched, probably it may hit 90+ to 100k.... Then its not worth liao...can get LGT with that pricing...
Davidklt Supercharged February 12, 2008 Author Share February 12, 2008 Yes..I suspect would be around that pricing too but if you look at the new Mazda 6..the price also increased to $80k+ ? At the lowest point a Mazda 6 was retailing at $69k?
Silveratenza Neutral Newbie February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Yes, the basic 2L is now selling at 85k, while range topping 2.5L is at 103k Yup, I bought my 2L SP at 67k during Feb07...good price whenever a new model coming...
Davidklt Supercharged February 12, 2008 Author Share February 12, 2008 Thats a fantasic price you got. The Mazda 6 i am driving now is close to 5 years old.The selling price then was 102k! 35k price difference.

Rickster 5th Gear February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Nice! But it kinda looks like a facelift from the current Accord Euro than a brand new model built from scratch.
Rickster 5th Gear February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Quote Yes...as long as they stay away from the KM Honda Accord and new Legend design. Would be safe..haha The current KM accord looks very very horrible. I think a Geely CK 1.5L looks sleeker
Rickster 5th Gear February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 Somehow I think the Japs are practising some sort of discrimination. Y is it that for both Hondas & Toyotas, their conti counterparts seems to look alot better and sleeker than the made-in-thailand-for-asia models. Maybe the ang mohs got bigger balls for them to suck eh?
