Picantorian Neutral Newbie February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 1) Novena Square 2 (steep n slicky flooring especially when wet) 2) Central (steep, many levels) 3) OUB Centre (narrow, steep turn) 4) Burlington Square (narrow n sharp turn when turning before the lift area but now mgmt has created another exit for those long vehicle) 5) Basement carpark at Jurong Entertainment Centre. Going in is okay but coming out is SIONG See the scratch marks on the wall and you will know why. 6) Causewaypoint (they erected metal barricades horizontally complementing the stop barriers to make the exits even smaller - presumably to prevent mcycles from squeezing through; take care if you are driving big cars) 7) Entrance to IMM @ Alexandra - Front Lip cracked. Chances is we din slow enough to go over the hump.

Icekitten Clutched February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 Oic......... yup.... got 2 there now that u've mentioned it. I always parked at the basement CP cos it's nearer and..................... I lazy to walk mah That was my first and only time parking at FEP. Didn't know about the basement one til I was exiting and saw another gantry. Then just avoided parking at FEP coz I didn't know if it was designed like the other one. Ok la, not a big problem coz FEP cp is a bit out of the way if going to shop around Orchard, unless intending to stay within the building. So humps and ramps in the basement CP are ok? Then I might park try parking there in future if I have to go FEP.
Icekitten Clutched February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 haiz..sad for you guys. They should have some standard when building humps and ramps. They all come in different sizes and slope. The humps especially. Some tall some short. Haiz.. Some slopes look very steep yet I can clear without scraping. I think it's something to do with the gradient of the base part, where it meets the bottom level. I think somehow the design of individual makes also makes a difference in determining whether the bumper will kena on ramps and humps or not, even if the bumpers are at the same height above ground. Icekitten Clutched February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 Ya man, i agree, COmpasspoint that drop off point area, the slope upwards slanted till very jialat, i saw one van kena stuck there before on the slanted portion and cannot move up nor down... that's how serious the slant was, so probably, do not stop on the slanted area if your ride is not that powerful eh... Ya that slanted slope must be the most stupid carpark entrance design I've ever seen. Just not logical lor. They could've let ppl just enter by turning left from the road, where the exit is. I'm not so lawless yet haha, but my hubby said he sometimes avoids the slanted slope and just enters by there. Then the slope itself, could've just been a smooth gradual cement or tar slope. Instead they used those rough tiles and made it an angled slope.

Ryowee Neutral Newbie February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 Isetan Orchard's carpark. The lots are small, most of the times you'll see cars parked over the designated lines.
Icekitten Clutched February 12, 2008 Share February 12, 2008 I notice that usually the Mercs and BMWs do that. They do that on purpose so no one can occupy the lot beside them. ↡ Advertisement
