Gantan88 Clutched February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 The news never say whether the IU unit got the cover a not? Does the culprit pick the car randomly? I always leave cash card in the car but got the cover to cover it up...

Fcw75 Hypersonic February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 (edited) The cashcard cover is basically telling the thief 'hey buddy, I have a cashcard beneath me but I am covering it'. Why does one put a cashcard cover if there's no cashcard in the IU? Even if there's no cashcard beneath the cover, the thief will still smash your windscreen or window thinking there's one. Dun put a cashcard or cover at the IU is the best so your chances of your car being raided is reduced. IMO, the cover is one of the stupid invention in my list. It's more for those car salesman to advertise their name and phone number. Edited February 8, 2008 by Fcw75
Fos19 1st Gear February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 I always leave cash card in the car but got the cover to cover it up... I think this is worse ... if you take out the cashcard, the thief can see that there is NO cashcard to steal... under the cover, the thief would think 50% there is (even if there is none) and break yr windscreen to try ! Albeniz Turbocharged February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 Loud smashes for at least 22 times but nobody in the neighborhood noticed anything amiss? Strange. Or simply bochap. I thought many people are still well-awake during the wee hours on New Year's Day?
Sosaria Twincharged February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 Wahz... think Sg ultra safe ah.... Complacency sets in.... Yes, the news focus on the terrible crimes up north most of the time, while depressing incidents like suicides and crimes happening here are not emphasized. Crime is sure to rise with inflation and rising cost of living... need to be careful and not complacent anymore.
Apollo 1st Gear February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 at least cashcard covers r in the car. it reduces chances of the cashcard being stolen. if it is stoopid, then those things outside the car like sports rim, badges r even worst.
Gantan88 Clutched February 8, 2008 Share February 8, 2008 come to think of it yr mindset is quite right actually . From now on i will take out the cash card, put it at the sun visor there, and leave the IU cover open. Like that no problem liao right? ↡ Advertisement
