Meecar Clutched February 9, 2008 Share February 9, 2008 i really dislike people taking advantage of other people especially when people taken advantage of are the underdogs worse when they dont have a choice eg widow have children, loan shark force her to be prostitute because of husband's debt (husband already dead) worse if we dont even treat our animals decently this world is not just meant for us HUMANs there is the other zillions of species out there and we as HUMANs are killing them off without a blick of an eye we all identify with Ah Meng (not because of Darwinian theory) but because to me AH Meng symbolises the struggle that we common sillyporean are going through MIW are so blind, that they see economic growth (numbers) so terribly important where has it landed us papa lee himself said, in his life time he is NOT going to see sillypore transform to a gracious society why because from day 1 your kids and my kids are brain washed we have to make progress but this must be inline with what the NATIVE population can handle by bringing FT is good but not too long ago ST wrote 3 out of 5 jobs last year went to FT, this is beside the point the point here about FT is, when MIW cannot change NATIVE population to suit their goals they get FT to do it in the end we sillyporeans are a mixed bag of rojak we NATIVE population have a vested interest in our sillypore because many of us cannot run and when FT (not all) screwed everything up or ripe all the benefits , what is left for the NATIVE FT (like any where they go) because they have a political cloud, when things go wrong, they blame NATIVE, because NATIVE stupid cannot understand high tech or high power negotiations we need to ensure that our children learn that animals co-exist with us, our children needs to respect our elders and dont thing they are a burden to our society, our children needs to learn that maturity is not acquired by being a MIW or the dozen of degrees that they collect, our children needs to know that we love them for what they are amen Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beavc Clutched February 9, 2008 Share February 9, 2008 My cousin who work in the zoo said the real Ah Meng died much earlier during the time she escaped during a shooting of a show/commercial..not sure when maybe early 90s. It was reported she fell and broke her arm but in reality she died and replaced with another orang utan as normal visitors can't tell the different.
