i was thinking that since i do need freedom (transport)

there will come a time when I cannot afford to maintain a car

with the erp etc

have you guys thought of changing to a two or three wheeler

if "no face" can set trend like riding on a Harvey

those with girlfriend or hope to be girlfriend added advantage

pillion rider have to hug you

but just make sure you remove the handle bars for pillion

seriourly considering

van is merely a few hundred cheaper than car - still have to pay the same erp rate.

just lun and retire elsewhere like malaysia is the best.

spend everything in ringitt with subsidised basic necessities, small condo rental at rm700 and best cheap brand new perodua at less than 50k rm.

no doubt that malaysia is a much cheaper place to live in but do give a thoughts on the safety on yourself and your family members..

Welll you don't see the m'sians packing their bags and running to SG just because our country is so-called "safeR"?

I think we're all conned into believing our country is so damn safe but as you all know very well how much is "covered" up and how much the propaganda-machine a.k.a ST news restricts the kind of content it displays.

[sweatdrop] Well, I suppose the experiences of forummers here speak for themselves...some have really gotten very bad encounters in JB...If u dun believe in local media, then perhaps u'll believe in those who had 1st hand experience...

[laugh] Oh yah...need to qualify..the malaysians ARE NOT running to Singapore cos its safer...the ones who can, are indeed going all over the world and staying there...they aren't going back....so Singapore is just one teeny weeny choice for them...

Those who can't leave, well... [lipsrsealed]

i cant agree with you more

why

because not too long ago

there was this statistic that said that sillypore ahs more death on the road than any SE Asian countries

SAFE is a really a relativve word

the broader sense of SAFE does it include freedom of speech and privacy

case in point

you and the MIW can hire PI to investigate you but your cannot hire PI to investigate MIW unless you inform the mata mata (who by the way are part of the MIW armoury)

Safe - you still hear of old people lost of dignity because they have not enough money to eat - thanks to MIW

Safe - you still get murder cases here in sillypore dont you
