Carlover76 Neutral Newbie February 5, 2008 Share February 5, 2008 But for sure, all Toyota engines are from China Engine Plant.

Contax 1st Gear February 5, 2008 Share February 5, 2008 what's wrong with "all Toyota engines are from China Engine Plant" ? No flame war intended, but why do people immediately associate China-made with inferiority? I admit some stuff made there aren't exactly quality, but if you go to China now you'll be surprised how 20th century this school of thought is. No matter what , they will be making toyota engines using the same parts and same processes at any toyota plant, only difference is their workers will try harder, work longer and get paid lesser. Carlover76 Neutral Newbie February 5, 2008 Share February 5, 2008 Nothing can deny that China has cheaper labour which can produce same products but you can bring over the same technology and R&D over to China but there is one thing you cannot change, it is the mindset of their people. Look at how many recalls Toyota has for year 2007 compared to other brands, you will know how good their quality of their cars are.
Shox87 4th Gear February 5, 2008 Share February 5, 2008 mark X for me for the above options. but why not consider the BM camry? i think its the best looking of the lot esp. the 2.4L model.as it comes with HID lamps. so if u include the BM camry in, its gotta be the BM camry for me. as for PI camry, im not a fan of it at all. jus doesn't appeal to me. Yaloryalor 5th Gear February 5, 2008 Share February 5, 2008 Yes! BM Camry is better. Look wise is good, space wise is as big as the PI camry! If you buy 2.4L not just due to the HID, 2.0L can also install HID by 3rd party also.
