Kawan 1st Gear February 3, 2008 Author Share February 3, 2008 Thanks to Bluemice and all responded. Simply too much to do during the weekend so procrastinated the purchase to Wed morning (on leave). When i first saw the Concorde Ultimax at a store in Marina Square, i love it (the material, design, light blue color ...) but price is too expensive for wife to agreed with me. Also, my wife find it a little bigger than other models such as maxi-cosi. The materials and colors of Safe-n-sound does not look too good although features are strong. I got a high end Maxi Cosi infant car seat 1 year ago (i think it was $300+) and utilized for only a short period of time, regret not getting those which was designed for "birth to 18 kg". Having seen some less expensive models, i have more or less decided on the Maxi-Cosi Priori XP. I think it is slightly below $400 from Kaki Bukit. Any owner of that model? Paddie 3rd Gear February 3, 2008 Share February 3, 2008 What about Combi Coccoro? http://www.combi.co.jp/products/carseat/coccoro/index.html It's light and compact, can be used forward or rear facing. Around $330 I think.
Bluemice 2nd Gear February 6, 2008 Share February 6, 2008 Concorde child restraint systems can be used as protective gear on Tiger tanks. agreed, but u slow la... now is no longer tiger but leopard liao... even the MIW also using them... sure good good one... hee hee, but then again, a bread is a bread, so can i say that a tank is a tank ?? mice
Bluemice 2nd Gear February 6, 2008 Share February 6, 2008 dunno if i hv replied too late. do get your child to one of those supermarts, or shops that allow u to try and "test fit" your child on the seat prior to purchase... i "placed" my boi on the demo seat for 30 min, and he enjoys it b4 spending the $$. He was about 8mths then, nowadays at abt 21mth, he knows that that seat = driving arnd. and is trying to climb onto it himself... heng, my $$ didnt goes to waste. Also, for concorde, look arnd during the mothercare sale period ( other shops applied too) the concorde $$ will drop by abt $100 to region of $350 ! Also note that some shops carry warranty for the seats, some dun, pls ask ! mice
