Xiamen/Chaozhou/Shantou

I would like to get some helps from here.

 

My father-in-law intend to go back to his hometown in Chaozhou during mid March or April 08. There will be 8 of us gtg. 4 elderly folks & 4 adults.

 

I've checked with one of the tour agency yday on a 5D Xiamen/Chaozhou/Shantou package trip. We are thking of once we reach Chaozhou, we don't want to join the tour agency group & will ask the China side relative to pick us up from other places. Sad to say that the tour agency girl said that they do not allow us to do so even if we are paying for our tips to the tour guide.

 

On the other hand, my sis-in-law was saying that we can go to HK, Shenzhen & Macau after their trip for 4 days to do some window shoppings as we intended to have 2 weeks holidays in overseas for overall trip & relax.

 

We intended to send the 4 elderly folks to Xiamen airport after their trip back to Spore & at the same time, we can take another flight to go HK, Macau & etc. Sad to say that the tour agency girl told me that they do not provide such a service to book another air ticket from Xiamen to HK or so. She said that we need to book our own air ticket through Xiamen tour agency & from there to HK.

 

This is the very problematic problem for us here. Anybody can have great ideas & share with me?

when u go there, u need to fill in a letter to say u sick or etc etc (think excuses) and pass to tour guide.

 

there is a reason. if u dun join, later u may sue them for loss of sight seeing, etc.

 

internal flight tix sud b able to b purchased at the hotel counter or airport. bring cash. but not sure if they will allow you to rearrange ur return flight. check the flight class of ur tix.
