Yep, I went into M'sia via the Causeway with my 2 American friends. When the M'sia immigration officer pointed to the notice saying something like this, "Embarkament card is not necessary to enter M'sia until further notice" dated 19.1.08. So, it is for all visitors to M'sia.

When I ask how do we know if white card is required, he simply points back to the notice. [hur]

When returning back to SGP @ 4pm, it's fine. Just make sure that your passport is stamp with the correct date.

I was also told by the custom guy that the white card not needed liao. But, at the same time, got some funny rumor going on.

I heard from a friend that M'sia going to impose a 1/4 tank exit rule. ie, if Singapore car coming out of JB must have no more than 1/4 tank. [shocked] Anyone heard of this rule? Sounds absolutely... unbelievable. Its one measure certain to make a big dent on tourist earnings for JB. [sweatdrop] If go in shopping, cannot drive.... [rolleyes]

I heard over radio that Malaysia High Com in SGP confirm that going in thru Woodlands and 2nd link, no need white card.

But they said is for testing purpose, which make me wonder what if you go in they do not require your white card, but when you exit, they said trial over and want white card from you, how? [sweatdrop]

=========================

How about if fly? Issit only by road that don't need the white card?

Then our passport must give them chop or no need to chop? Or just show them passport and jalan?

====================

Now just wave & smile as u pass the counter. Latest technology. They use camera to capture your face & store in their database & match as u leave the country. [laugh][laugh][laugh]
