Spas Neutral Newbie January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 I've always been iffy on the way the RX-8 looks. Too many curves that don't flow with one another. After the facelift, it's just about the same. Only just a little more messy. But I really love the paintjob though. Really gorgeous colour. ↡ Advertisement

Azarael Clutched January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 agree with u. i like the side profile and the back of RX8 with the nice dual exhausts. However i dont really like the front and the way the car wwas put together was like Mazda tried very hard to incoporate everything nice and sporty into the design....there is no "zen" haha, personally i tried out the RX8. nice to drive but it is extremely Rev hungry....and the worse thing about it is that it consumes motor oil ......rotary engines are not perfect.... Personally, if rotary engines were so superior, i feel that the Mercedes Benz and Honda would have tried i out in their cars...better stick to many small pistons

Pskvin Neutral Newbie January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 hi bro, I do no agrees with yr words : if rotary engines were so superior, i feel that the Mercedes Benz and Honda would have tried i out in their cars every car maker have their strength, like porche - boxer engine, bmw - inline 6. u cant say boxer no good, otherwise other car maker had orady use that....and so on. just my 2 cents
Kenmical Clutched January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 Yes...its working on individual strenghts rather than going into unfamiliar fields that really makes individual car marker stands out.

Kiadaw 6th Gear January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 (edited) I agree, Mazda uniqueness is its Rotary engine. BTW, if I remember correctly, Mazda is the only Japanese automaker that has won Le-man 24 hrs with its rotary engine car. Now, thats what I call a facelift. I love everything, the seats, dash, new headlights, bumpers, except the taillight....but why the taillight so GT-Rish!!!..Oh yeah, the wheels are damn sick too Btw, is there any power/spec improvement? Kenmical Clutched January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 Yes i do !!! PM me your email address i can send you the group and individual shot of them. And yes they won the 24hrs LeMan with the legendary 767B (I hope its not 747...) Hehe. In other countries the Rotary 20B engine is a gem...and its powerful too. But back to this facelift RX8...i luv the rims. Real solid...

En0203 2nd Gear January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 (edited) is it only me that thinks the current one actually looks nicer? i think there is something really wrong with the flow of the rear bumper... and it lost all the rotary crest... the one on the front and rear bumper is gone, the one on the front sit is gone and i prefer the old steering.. which actually have a bit of rotary shape also... everything is gone still prefer the current model with original type S bodykit Edited January 21, 2008 by En0203
