Hi,

just want to alert everyone here to be careful when you pump gas in JB. On more than one occasion , I was short changed by the pump attendants. Example when I pump rm$25 worth of gas and handed rm$50 for payment, the attendants will only return rm$15 and quickly tried to walk away. I was lucky to be able to catch hold of the attendants and demanded the exact change to be return to me. This happened to me at least 3 times on different petrol stations(Esso, Shell and Caltex) I believed the attendants are aware that singapore registered cars tend to PFO( pump and F*** off) as quickly as we could so they will try to "cheat".

When I was in KL, I even encountered a attentant printing a recept with the amount returned to me as rm$30 instead of rm$15. I pumped rm$35 and paid rm$50....not sure what he was trying to do and I simply just drove off...

Not only in JB, in SG oso same, esp when take taxi o pump petrol, Eg when your fare/petrol is $12.80, u give them $50, the driver will give u 20cents first. then give u $7, if u in a hurry n go away, u can bye bye 2 your $30. They will always give u the small change first, so be careful.

When I pump in JB, I always standby RM10, RM5, and RM1 notes in my pockets. This way, you can give them exact amount and not risk having:1) shortchanged 2) relieved of wallet.
