Why do folks disable TRC/VSC?

Came across a online video post of how to disable TRC/VSC on the IS 250 using a series of pedal steps. But I was wondering why the heck people would want to do that?

Certainly disabling traction and vehicle stability controls will help a car get out of deep snow, but I don't understand why people would want to disable this safety feature in normal driving.

Anyone care to enlighten me? [rolleyes]

Purist driver would prefer without electronic help as it's more fun, excitement and also test one's skill on corners wink.gifwink.gifwink.gif

those not so skillful driver trying to be purist will end up in accident or even death sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

Simple - to have fun when on tracks or on a deserted stretch.

The VSC/ESP should be disabled when one gets trapped in snow or something like that - or so it says in my car manual.

Yah, my manual states the same thing - that's why I was puzzled why anyone in Singapore would want to disable the supposed safety feature.
