As what some of the local (British) mention how would those yanks (Amercian) know about British Soccer when its not their national sport in their country. They buy the football club for investment reason ($$) just like Man U. They have no passion in soccer.

 

Tom Hicks & George Gillet are just businessman with no real interest in soccer, should the club go into chaos because of them U can be sure the Liverpudian would not go quietly and let it rest.

 

Example foreigner buy over a NBA Franchise example Antonio Spurs or Miami Heat then just play around by signing all the trash player go make a guess what will happen, same if a foreigner buy over any of their top Baseball or Amercian Football Team..
