Just bought a new Altis (1/18 scale Model).

Actually the new model is also no sale too

stocks and the showroom piece have flaws on its

paintwork.

Altis needs no further Introduction right.

This Model is so different from those

Autoart models that we seen here.

The features include :

- Fully Carpeted floor and celling

- All doors can be opened ( Include Sunroof )

- Sliding and recliing front Seats

- Driver's Armrest can be opened.

- Foldable side mirrors and tilitable rearview mirror

Enjoy.

More photos .

Model was bought at Hongkong CauswayBay Bldg

level 16 (next to ToyZone).

Price was HKD300 ( SGD 51)

They have several models like

New Altis (HKD 500), Mazda3 SP (HKD 550), Honda Civic (HKD550),

Camry, Mark X, Cerato and Latio Sedan (HKD 480), Focus (HKD 400),

RX350 (HKD 450) and many domestic car models.

I ponder in this shop for more then an hour as I do not

know which model to buy.

Practically touch and held every model. [gorgeous]

untill the Sales staff opened all the showcases door

and let me drool at them.

From the photos you take, looks almost like a real one, except that the windscreen a bit "dirty"... Even comes with sun roof!

Usually people keep super cars' model, are you a altis/toyota fan.. or u used to own an altis?

Nice details (equivalent of Kyosho / Minichamps / Autoart). I believe these are dealer editions made in China. Are you a diecast collector?

I have a few chevys in my 1:18 showroom too. [;)]

I do not own a Altis but I like and collect Diecast Models

mostly Domestic rides.

Super cars like Evo, WRX, RX8 and Ferraris are too

common to my liking.

Actually the attention to details is on par or even better to Kyosho.

I compare a Kyosho BMW 530 to This Altis and the latter

have more features to the BMW.

Have several models in my showcase now.

Including a Toyota Hiace 1/24.

I prefer domestic models more and therefore

I dont fancy Super rides when I shop

for Car models.

Yup agreed. Most of the China made dealer editions offer superb details.

I actually collect construction diecast but recently also started a few 1:18 cars cos I got blown over by the incredible details.

We share the same sentiments! I dun really go for real world exotic cars cos I think they are rather common in the diecast world. Personally prefer street cars which is the exact opposite - common in real world but rare in high-detail diecast.

My collection is mainly limited to Chevys (cos I drive 1 haha..)

- 3 Optras (estate, sedan and hatch), Spark, Epica and Avalanche.

Care to share where you bought your collection? especially

Optras?

These 1/18 scale Domestic models are immpossible

to find locally.

Unless I missed out some places cos I have been to almost every

corner to search.
