Yeobh 4th Gear January 14, 2008 Share January 14, 2008 Yes Snap-on are quality products, built to last. The gauge must be Blue Point.

Protege 1st Gear January 15, 2008 Share January 15, 2008 This is cheap ,good & handy - alum casing , US brand and make Bro, I have bought this pen type as per your pic. Is it reliable in terms of reading? Wondering with this, do I still need to get a digital one.....
Yeobh 4th Gear January 15, 2008 Share January 15, 2008 (edited) When you choose tyre pressure gauge , please consider the followings a) Yr ride - family car, Street racing car, comercial vehicles, off road vehicles, two wheeler,ATV, Go-Kart etc etc. then decide on the type of display, chuck design and frequency of usage. Easy to take reading and repeatablity is of paramount impt. If you are comfortable with a simple pen type pressure gauge then there is no reason to go for a digital one. Hope this helps PS Have PM to all who request for info. Edited January 15, 2008 by Yeobh

Yeobh 4th Gear January 15, 2008 Share January 15, 2008 (edited) As I have mentioned in my earlier post, it all depends on your applications and requirements. For me, all the while over the last 3 decades I use only pocket tyre pressure scale ( metal professional type ) - handy and fast - if you have bad eyesight then don't opt for this type. For normal usage I always recomend pressure gauge with digital scale - very good repeatable readings, very easy to read even with bad lighting. Some customers even suggest that I import and sell taking tyre pressure scales. Edited January 15, 2008 by Yeobh
Jchuacl Clutched January 16, 2008 Share January 16, 2008 Are there any digital gauges that can display both pressure and temperature?
Yeobh 4th Gear January 16, 2008 Share January 16, 2008 (edited) Frankly , I don't see the need to do temp check on the tyres unless you are pumping up tyres at the race track. For pit stop guys they will check the track surface and the tyre temp and then compute to decide on the best air pressure to set Edited January 16, 2008 by Yeobh ↡ Advertisement
