Traffic on TPE came to a standstill this morning and the entire highway became a car park, took me almost 1.5hrs to get from Changi to Yio Chu Kang. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Both accidents happened at about the same time.

1) TPE(SLE) was jammed until seng kang, heard on radio that accident happened on SLE. [:/]

2) TPE(Changi), accident happened at Pungol and could see tailback until SLE when I excited at YCK exit.

Was practicing tummy compressions in the car and almost died man .... sprinted to the toilet when I reached my destination. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Was travelling from Changi T3 to Yishun around 8:30 .... took TPE and exit at Jalan Kayu and when thru Seletar Camp East and Yishun Dam instead, so don't know where is the accident spot. Total took me 45 mins to get to Kathib [sweatdrop]

Turbocharged

TPE towards changi accident was at around the Lorong Halus area, a pile up of cars on the right ( 1st ) lane. Ambulance and TP activated. Happened around 6.45am, recounted my experience on another thread in Lite n Ez, ( 1 up for the small car pg 1 ). Think quite a lot of ppl late this morning.

becos of the accident in both directions happening near sengkang, there was major jam at all the exits in sengkang....

Guess alot of people tried diverting hence all got stuck inside sengkang.

i couldn't get out of sengkang tried 3 different routes and finally managed to slowly get out thru hougang.....

Woah........... talk about luck!

Was returning to Tampines from Hougang and I decided to travel via Old Tampines Rd instead of TPE at around that time! Was damn sleepy and if I got onto the TPE, think I would have doze off! [sweatdrop]

Then, wanted to get change and travel towards AMK via TPE as well. Then the temptation of my bed seem too great and I slept till 10am.... [laugh]

Travelled along TPE and the traffic was smooth except for a few road hoggers (what's new?}

A blessing in disguise!

Thats why an OPC might be advantageous here. Before 7am, you can easily do Changi to Yio chu Kang in under 20 mins. [sly]
