1. It seems like Asian car makers are trying to roll out high bhp car one after another.

2. Whereas, the low end contis are not showing much interests in upping their bhp in their new line-ups.

i think it's a good sign to see more high bhp engines around and that should be the future [nod]

i hope someday good technology like the high lift vtec and VVTL-i will be available in mass produced engines [nod]

though low end contis don show their interest in high bhp engine, their chasis are wonderful to have. if only japanese adopt the way conti engineers the chasis [gossip]

They have to think of new ways of marketing liao. Join venture fails. Proton is sinking! Eventually it may be taken over by Chery and the like! [sweatdrop]

They sell the Gen 2 to China as SPORTS car under the name of Europeanstar! Hahaha!

We would be pleasantly surprised that Gen2 and Savvy received good reviews in Taiwan. Gen2 was projected heavily as a Lotus tuned car, stability in highway cruising with a sporty image. Savvy is being viewed as a small car with responsive engine and mated with a precise gearbox but the Taiwanese don't understand why a Savvy still uses manual handle for winding up and down the passengers' windows.
