How to access the LTA database?

Hi all,

 

I need to know where to go find the LTA car database. Something about just inputing the car's license place no. then can get all info about the car, the car's model, engine chasis no. etc. I can't seem to find it on LTA or one-motoring website.

 

Anyone has the link?

haha.. u are missing the point a car database is for security purposes also. It's also suppsoed to be for easy access to allow car buyers n sellers to check whether the car they are buying is genuine, not stolen or using stolen parts etc.

 

Medical records are personal stuff entirely. Your argument is weak.

I also want to check LTA database to get sales ranking of PIs, and sales raking by car models. I do remember the newspaper periodically discloses sales ranking by model and quote the source is LTA. R these info available on LTA websites?
