Yah his hwa yi also like his drifting.....sideways.. but his burning the tarmac..

 

 

relative to the other drifters at the event, he didn't have impressive control of his vehicle. that's from a specatator point of view.

Well, the basic requirement is still a RWD car

Actually, it can be started relatively cheaply.

 

Take for example... most new cars cost at least about $50k to $65k on the average.

 

A good budget entry car for drifting might be the S13 Silvia, priced at about $25k currently for 2nd hand ones.

 

Then take about another $10k to get the car up to decent drift capabilities and there you go, a $35k car for both driving and drifting.

That's not drifting at all.

 

That's just tail-whipping the car with ZERO rear wheel control at all. I personally think that it's very hazardous to be tail-whipping a FWD car as you wouldn't be able to "push" your car out of the slide as RWD car would do in the middle of a drift

There is no S13 in SG right. The ones owned by Yoong and Sean. I am really in love with that car. The design is simple and yet it can be the best drift cars around. But I am sure there is a couple of 180SX for sale rite ?
