I hope everyone had a safe and happy X'mas because I didn't. frown.gif

My car is only 1.5 years old and I already had 3 accidents in it.

#1 - I parked my car in an open air CP. When I returned a few hours later, I found scratches and paint scrapes on the rear bumper. Judging from the pattern, someone must have hit my car while reversing and ran off. This one is still minor so nevermind.

#2- About 6 months later, I was driving on ECP towards airport. Before Sheares Bridge, there is a series of bends. The car in front of me braked to a complete stop and I had to jam brake. I avoided hitting the car in front, but the car behind slammed into my rear.

#3- X'mas 2007: I was stationery at a traffic junction when a car slammed into me from behind. That car had been hit from behind by a 3rd car.

None of the 3 accidents were really my fault, yet they happened. This really makes me wonder if there is such a thing as car feng shui. Does anyone know how to improve my car's "luck"? Or maybe I should just sell it off? I took a 5 year loan from the bank ... wonder how much I will lugi.

Actually ... other than the 1st one ... the rest of the 2 .... is ok ... since you are able to claim from them for insurance.

So .... actually it's quite ok.

Wah! Like carnapping! Give us money to release your car. We meet at the secluded beach on Changi. You bring cash, we bring car. Exchange simultaneously. laugh.gif

That was my first thought!!!!

[furious] bloody hell... its quite a hefty sum to pay for towing charges as well as release charges lei!!! And to think I rented a car there for the weekend.... its ridicullous! [thumbsdown]

WARNING TO ALL DRIVERS

OVERNIGHT PARKING AT TURF CITY WILL CAUSE YOUR CAR TO BE CARNAPPED!!! I'm the idiot who got his car car-napped!!! So I dont wish the same to all in the forum!

buy those flowers from the temple and try to wash your car with holy water. wash away the jinx~ Oh maybe it's not the car, it's you who's the jinx .. Now, you and the car should go bath the flower water together. [idea]

I am not superstitious. I just happen to choose red car.

Both brand new cars I bought were red. The first one I sold off without a single scratch.

Now, I'm driving the 2nd one, fingers-crossed, no accident yet.

It might be the colour of the car or psychologically we gravitate to one colour or the other and cause us to change our driving style, or simply the colour is just more visible.

hmmm.. different people suitable for different colour..

my brother had his feng shui readen (believe it or not up to u).. the FS Master told him get a pair of peacock feathers to put at rear dashboard to help him look out for the rear cos peacock feathers got "eyes"..

so far nothing happened after putting.. before that, he had like lots of minor accidents from the rear.. [;)][;)]

The FS master of some shops in Fu Lu Shou are juz out to earn ur $$, pls be careful not to be tricked.

FS master is not from Fu Lu Shou complex.. is another person.. i just got the peacock feather from Fu Lu Shou.. [nod]

Quite true...but I read somewhere before that in US...sliver cars cost more to insure...cos they are more accident prone. The colour blends with the surrounding well...hence pple dun see the car sometimes.

For me....white & blue has been relatively painless.....sliver was a pain in the @ss for me.
