I recently had the opportunity to try out the new mazda 6 but sori no pics as forbidden. unfortunately i had only 15 mins wif the car but heres wat i can conclude from it. One thing tat strikes is how mature it is compared to the old model. now dun get me wrong, its no ah pek car but more grown up than the previous generation. The interior of the previous model was not too my liking but the new one appeals to me. the integrated audio looks nice and seems easy enuf to use. steering is leather wrap(dunnoe whether this will be standard here) and feels chunky. seats offered very gd support and quality was top notch. this time the interior aluminium trim is not overplayed. now about interior space, i may not be a gd example to use because of my height and size but wud say its very spacious for an average size person. theres afew stuff in side and out that juz screams ford, which to me is a gd thing.1 example is the side repeaters which looks like a slightly deformed version of the focus mk1 and mondy mk3 ones. now the drive is well how shall i put it......very euro. the steering is heavy and gives u confidence when taking a sharp corner but light enuff to negotiate during city driving.well power wise is pretty decent and prolly similar to the previous model. din push it but autobox was very smooth.overall i say 2 thumbs up for mazda. the new mondy will haf a hard time once its launched here.

Neutral Newbie

So before one gets to drive your own car.

It was driven by someone from factory to harbour.

Transhiper will test drive the car, if its a new or unique model.

From local port to showroom. (high speed testing)

From showroom to workshop (etc, to install radio, solar films, etc)

Then it reached the cutomer.

Anyway, the new M6 looks like a winner if the price is ~$85k.

most of the time the radio is factory fitted and the good ADs get the solar film installer to do the work at the delivery center to minimize unnecessary driving. the mileage on the odometer when u pass the car to the owner is impt...customer will complain if the odometer has a high reading.

but i agree , if the M6 can undercut the mondeo's and the new accord's pricing by going under 95K then it will be a sleeper hit.. [nod]

super nice design and the 6 has always been know to be a driver's car...... [flowerface]

actually now they dun drive the cars from port to showroom. they are usually transported by car carriers from port.

u are rite most units nowadays come wif factory fitted HU altho they're not connected to prevent people from using the radios. and i noticed most come wif factory tinting.
