Elmo 4th Gear December 19, 2007 Share December 19, 2007 (edited) Hi, I think tyre shops usually do trade-ins. Not just buy-in. You may want to try the industrial shops along AMK Ave 10 Blk 4000+. Cheers! Edited December 19, 2007 by Linus
Apollo 1st Gear December 19, 2007 Share December 19, 2007 (edited) just use until end of life lor... no choice, no one will take in seasoned tyres. too challenging for them to sell away unless u package it with ur rims. then again, most pple who does tat will treat the tyre as nil value. Route88 2nd Gear December 20, 2007 Share December 20, 2007 Depends on how frequent u drive, even u change new tyres, need ard 400 - 700km to scrub it in...by the time raining season over
Apollo 1st Gear December 20, 2007 Share December 20, 2007 my take is drive defensively, give way when necce, give more dist betw u and motorbike/ larger vehicles (becos their braking is not visible), if it rains heavily u may want to divert out fr lane 1 (to inner lanes), if it rains and is sunny bright, use sunglass with UV protection to get better visibility. do not overpressure the tyre, stick to manufacturer's specification. also, how old is ur ride? when did u last bleed the brake fluid? pple may b inclined to tink poor stopping dist is fully associated to the tyres but it is integral to the entire braking system and ur driving speed. Qwert Clutched December 20, 2007 Share December 20, 2007 Since you already have a good deal with your new tyres, then let them dispose the old ones for you.
