Kelpie 2nd Gear December 14, 2007 Share December 14, 2007 Hi all, This might sound like a simple question. How do we measure our FC? I saw someone wrote that he drove a CTR and full tank could achieve 420Km hence the FC is 10Km/L. I thought FD Fuel tank is already 50L. Can someone enlighten me? Thank you. BoneStock 5th Gear December 14, 2007 Share December 14, 2007 this is my method 1) pump full tank, reset trip meter 2) drive till low fuel indicator lights up, note trip meter reading 3) pump full tank, note number of litres pumped. FC = trip meter reading/pump reading So making calculations based on the fuel tank capacity is incorrect.
Watwheels Supersonic December 14, 2007 Share December 14, 2007 I drive the FD1. My FC is about the same as the CTR u mentioned. Cos for Civic around 10L~12L the low fuel light will come on. After top up it's around 40L~42L hence that explains the 420km and FC of 10km/l. I think that owner does the same as I do. See the light only go petrol kiosk, reset odo and dan calculate.
