Hi Guys,

Got a quote from a reputable retailer for Sys 3 non-inverter SHARP PlasmaCluster Aircon @ 1559+120(upgrade insulation and copper pipe)= 1679 (price include GST, installation & 1 yr warranty)

Any comment on this aircon? Appreciate need your advice. Thanks

how about comparing the price with an inverter aircon. Inverter is more expensive but will save on electricity bill in the long run if you consistantly use aircon.

I bought this at $1588 + $60 (upgrade insulation) at gaincity. The pipes are larger than normal already

due to low usage pattern and differences of 1k or more for inverter...cost effective for me using non-inverter in the long run.

Hi,

May i know when you purchase it? I was informed that the outdoor unit is slightly noisy though i think it does not affect me cos window will be close...did you experience any fan/motor noise when sleeping in the night? also is the indoor unit quiet?

i understand everyone has certain level of noise tolerance and such measure is subjective so long it is not louder than a person snore... [;)] thats ok
