Poortraveller 1st Gear December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 and wat did the search tell you?
Ordix 2nd Gear December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 u cannot search by postal code. sometimes bit of hassle and frustration to do search because the free version do not have a universal standard on how contributors name the roads and place. I always search the place in advance before i start my journey. the original maps (additional 200bucks with 1 free updates) can search by postal code... i havent try it before though. Dafansu Turbocharged December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 i asked PW and it cost about $670 for the nuvi 300? how come the price difference?
Ordix 2nd Gear December 9, 2007 Share December 9, 2007 $670 must be price with map. I bought it at Hoan Enterprise at Sim lim tower ground floor. I went PW but i didnt like that bit haolian uncle tone. price same as Hoan but Hoan's uncle more friendlier I think... But I want to warn something first time I went to Hoan, the uncle quoted me $470 without maps (raw set) but 2nd time i went he said $490 and claimed that he couldnt have quoted me $470. my fren was there with me the first time n he confirmed he said $470 I was bit piss but heck its the same price that PW quoted me so i LL just pay the Hoan uncle 20dollars more lo.. Other than that Garmin 300 is all good :)

Jhoo Neutral Newbie December 10, 2007 Share December 10, 2007 Anyone any idea, what's Garmin CPU and processor speed? 266, 400 Hz? Seems to find these specs on other competitors except Garmin....
Oriki Neutral Newbie December 11, 2007 Author Share December 11, 2007 I'm thinking of either Nuvi300 or Holux 53CL which is around the same price I think. Only difference is this Holux comes with preloaded maps. Care to share why Garmin are preferred that Holux? Really appreciate it. ↡ Advertisement
