Firestone FireHawk Wide Oval?

Hi any guys using Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval? Firestone is basically Brdgestone, like Lexus as to Toyota.

 

Why i ask is because i know of one guy recently purchased a set of Wide Oval 195/55r15 at $75 per tyre! the price is madness. i think 205/50r16 should be less than $110 so its much cheaper than alot of tyres out there.

 

any guys knowing this tyre can feedback, thanks!

Silver Arrow Skoda Superb taxis are using the Wide Ovals in 205 55 R16. Made in Japan.

 

I hear that they are great value for money. Pretty decent performance.

 

$75? Could it be Thai-made?

The Japan made ones Wide Ovals are way much better than Thai made ones

i'm also considering this vs michelin pp2 vs cpc2

but i'm leaning towards pp2

Go for CSC2 or CSC3. Better than PP2.

he bought it at ES Tyre at AMK Ind.Pk 2. I'm not sure if its made in thai or japan, and i dun know the date of munufacture for the set he purchased. Even he admit that the tyres he bought are underpriced.

I'm on it, but on Made In Japan 17". This tyre not very popular, duno why, but i think it's overall a good normal street use tyre.

 

how much did u pay for the 17"? mine is 16", trying to get a feel of how much is 16"
