Arowana1 1st Gear December 7, 2007 Share December 7, 2007 fishing line is the least of the problem. the double sided tape can be a bitch to remove. not the usual tape but some sticky gooey thing that cannot be peeled off. u gotta rub and rub using cloth to remove it. Crv007 Neutral Newbie December 7, 2007 Share December 7, 2007 Hi Bros and Sis, Wonder if anyone can share where I can get my car de-badged and how much it will cost? Thanks! I de-badged my CRV tag myself, following step is how I do. 1. like most Bros here say use a fishing line to pull/cut out the badge. 2. buy Spirit from Hardware store, dap a cloth with spirit to rub the sticky double side taped out slowly. Go hardware store tell them you wanna de-badge they will pass you the spirit. dun use Tinner or other stuff as they are too strong can rub off your paintwork. 3. lastly use polish to polish over de-badge area. took me around 15 min

Kaer Neutral Newbie December 13, 2007 Share December 13, 2007 1. use hairdryer to heat out the double side or pour soapy water over the badge 2. use dental floss or fish line and cut between the badge and the car 3. the sticky goo, use soapy water and rub it out 4. sure will have "suntan" mark, polish it off have fun! W2K_83 1st Gear December 13, 2007 Share December 13, 2007 I just simply pull them out slowly and then wax the area. But have to do when the car's new. No marks or anything. My dad's been doing that to his cars for years and I just practise the same thing. ↡ Advertisement
