Fuel Saving at the expense of others?

Maybe I'm getting stressed out at work lately, but I just can't stand those people who really really really..... really.... really... feather their throttle [thumbsdown]

 

I'm not sure about the rest, my observation tells me that they are mostly Nissan Sunny driven by uncle. Either their engine is spoilt liao or they simply feathered their throttle. It took them forever to reach cruising speed [shakehead] and when the traffic light 400 meters away turned red, they already let go throttle and let the car roll the last 400 meters [mad]

 

I know fuel price is high now, but do your fuel saving at the expense of other road users? Do you think it is fair? [:/]

Blame it on the petrol price and all the talk on saving fuel! Plus all those tips to be gentle on the throttle. Actually one shld accelerate briskly to criusing speed as too long time in the lower gears used up more fuel.

Recently quite prevalent, causing lesser number of cars to be able to clear the traffic lights at a go.

I drove a Nissan sunny rental for a week before. I think a reason why they reach cruising speed slowly is because the first gear really drags on and on before hitting no. 2. But once it hits gear 2, it speeds up rather quickly.

 

My father-in-law's Sunny also same thing. I think that is also the reason why fuel consumption for a Sunny is slightly higher.

Different people adopts different driving habits mah... Some likes to floor the pedal while others like to take it easy... If you find yourself behind the latter, just overtake lor... No point getting angry lah... Like that you'll waste lots of brain cells getting pissed over this...

If you think they are slow, i will advice that you just overtake loh, no point getting stressed up... if its one lane, even if theres a big lorry or bus in front of you moving so slowly , you still have to follow it right?

ke ke ke... I'm afraid if I change lane to over take I become road hogging on the right lanes because I drive really slow liao so imagine their speed [dead][dead]

 

Left lane F1 wanna be trucks, middle lane turtle wanna be, right lane warp speed racer wanna be... [dead][dead][dead][dizzy]

Tat one no problem,just overtake if possible,but i just cant stand it when ppl cut to your lane and take his bloody own sweet time to pick up speed.Its either just simply bochap or their judgement of traffic flow SUCKS !!

I drive a auto sunny. Tis is not true. It depends on the driver!!! When I'm in front at the lights, I'm usually the 1st off the line. On par wif those bikes. If in front is merging lane, off aircon n floor the accelerator liao.

 

Seen many road hogging sunny drivers!!! [shakehead] I'll overtake them when the chance arrive.

 

Its the driver not the car.

A fricking 2.7L Fortuner road hogging on rite lane tis morning. Centre lane, a crane moving even slower. A liteace van came along in the middle lane n switch to 1st lane on seeing the crane in front of the Fortuner.

 

Left lane no car, I have to cut all the way to left lane n cut all the way back to rite nost lane in front of both the van n Fortuner.

 

 

Imagine, a 2.7L SUV travelling slower than a Liteace Van on right most lane. [rifle] I overtake n zoom off liao. Stupid road hoggers. [furious]

Even if u can drive faster.. it dun mean can reach destination earlier.. all will end up stuck at the next next traffic light.. tats from my experience.. 50% I reached destination 5 mins earlier.. 50% I got stuck at the same traffic lights.. [blush]

 

Like someone always say.. Relag.. be patient..

but sometimes also happen that because of that feather foot infront, you kena stuck at traffic light while he get to continue [mad][:/]

 

Think too much stress lately liao....
