The key to getting girls is the honey coated mouth that wishper sweet nothing into the girls hear. Don't know why, girls are just sucker for these even though they know the guy is not sincere. But not many guys can do this, including myself whom most girl will find boring.

I agree wif chocobelle... can hold hands on bus... when in bus and rest head on guys shoulder but if the guy is driving cannot do tat...

Let's be realistic. Nowadays the public transports (be it MRT or SBS Bus) are so crowded that it is impossible to find a seat. More likely, we would end up standing, holding onto the overhead hand rail for support.

Coincidently, my height is about the same as others' armpit level.

I gave up public transport after a while.

This way doesn't work for me.

My gf (now wife) keeps track of my promises.

Audits my promises on a regularly basis.

Yah .... maybe that's why most bf/husband don't make much promise at all ... because we need to fulfil them.

Whereas ... for those "players" out there ..... say liao .... get what they want and that's it.

.. i leave the car at home and take the bus.. just to make sure...

You are very smart. If a girl only goes out with you because you have a car, you better think twice. When she finds a guy with a better ride, you'd be history. That said, a car does make it easier for a guy to get a date...........

lucky my fiance doesnt think that way.. till now.. weekends to town.. we take the bus.. she doesnt say a thing [thumbsup][thumbsup]

last time i had a girlfriend before i had a license.. scolded me cos i had no license cos if i did i could have driven my dad's car... best of all.. her family NEVER once in their lifetime had a car.. [hur][hur][hur] even chinese new yr her whole family goes out by bus! no surprise.. we didnt last long.. good riddance!

I think most of us bros agree that girls who date guys with cars are rather superficial and not for the long term run. But then again some guys like that so its subjective. Scandal perhaps [sly][sly][sly][sly]

Having a car is not equal to having date.

Having a car = bangla driver for thick-skinned women who insists of a free ride.

(This is the truth.) [thumbsdown]

Yes, that's what happened to me, 1 cheapo charbo sticking to me initially after I had changed a new car. She drives as well but her car parked firmly in the office carpark and always 'longpang' our cars for lunch. All started to siam her with me being the first one.

The true fact is, some girls are just thick-skinned to look for people who drives, so that they can 'relec'. Date or not, it's one thing but certianly if they can be a princess for a day being ferried around, why not??

Perhaps in Singapore, having a bf who drives seems much 'class' than without. This is our society fault. Kinda brainwashed into thinking that way.

With the ever increasing prices of cars, I believe a lot of people will drop the idea of driving during weekend.

It is true that a car helps a man gets a date easily.

But once the woman marries the guy and is ready to settle down, she would want him to sell away the car.

Reality sets in after marriage. As husband and wife, they become united as one item and both would feel the real burden of car ownership, together.

For the same reason as how she was attracted to her man initially, the wife would not want her husband to use their car to attract another woman.

Most of my friends got a car after married and got a even bigger car when they got kids [rolleyes]

Imagine buying a LCD TV must ask to deliver [dizzy] Try shopping for grocery on a Sunday with your child in a pram, you carrying 4 bags of diaper and ketchup and can food, while desperately trying to call a Taxi [dead] Or when you child has a high fever in the evening peak hour and you trying to get a taxi to go home and bring him to the hospital....

Relying on public transport after marriage could be the trigger point for your divorce imho [laugh][laugh][laugh]

look on the bright side... if the gurl taller than u, u can always rest on her, and become her bosom friend.

but make sure she has ample boobs to snuggle on ok?

This is a chicken and egg question where there is no one right answer to it. It's like telling pple got $$$ means got happiness...some will agree whilst others will throw spanner at the claim [laugh]
